Sporting agree Issa Doumbia deal worth up to 26 million euros | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Sporting have reached an agreement with Venezia to sign Issa Doumbia for 2026/27.

The deal could reach 26 million euros, with 20 million up front, a further 3 million tied to accessible targets and another 3 million linked to tougher bonuses.

The club accelerated talks in recent days to fend off rival interest, including Benfica. Juventus, Roma, Newcastle United, Everton, Brentford and Bournemouth had also been monitoring the situation.

Doumbia has not yet scheduled travel to Lisbon, and the move is still to be made official. The expectation is that confirmation will follow in the coming days, with confidence the process will be completed by the end of the week.

This season for Venezia, the midfielder made 38 appearances, 37 in Serie B and one in the Coppa Italia, totalling 3,189 minutes. He registered 10 goals and five assists, and is valued at 8 million euros.
