Sporting CP goalkeeper Antonio Adan is urging Cristiano Ronaldo to return home.

Currently just months into his return to Manchester United, Ronaldo's future has come under question as they struggle this season.

A return to Sporting has been mooted for Ronaldo - something Adan says the players would welcome.

He told Record: "Cristiano is a scoring machine. It would be fantastic if he could come back to Sporting. I'm sure he's thinking of coming back.

"The moment will come when he will wear the Sporting jersey."
