Sporting’s Conrad Harder nearing Rennes move | OneFootball

Sporting CP forward Conrad Harder (20) is nearing a move to Stade Rennais, according to a report from L’Équipe.

The Danish forward netted 11 goals for Sporting last season, and has already agreed to join Rennes, despite an interest from Serie A side AC Milan. Les Rennais are in the market for a centre-forward after Arnaud Kalimuendo completed a big-money move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

It has given the Breton club money to spend and at least a part of that fee now looks set to be invested in Harder. Talks between the two clubs have accelerated in recent hours and an agreement is now close, as per L’Équipe.

Harder has also expressed a desire to join Rennes and an agreement over a four-year deal is now close. Les Rennais also continue to work on a deal to sign Esteban Lepaul from SCO Angers, even if there was a significant gap in the valuation of the French forward at the start of talks.
