Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou spoke to the media on the eve of the match with Roma in the upcoming Europa League fixture.

“Ranieri? He’s incredible,” said Postecoglou of his rival. “The fact that he’s still coaching shows the passion he has for the game, because I’m sure there are much easier and simpler ways for him to live his life now, but he still has that passion inside.”

“I’ve never met someone who inspired me so much, because it’s always nice to meet some of these people who have had a huge impact on football, especially in my coaching field, and he’s always come across as a gentleman.”

“So, yeah, I’m looking forward to meeting him.”

“Tomorrow we want to take the pitch and play the way we do and try to be the best we can,” he added.

“Vicario? It’s a tough pill to swallow. Knowing him, he will push the limits on how long he will be out for, and knowing him, I’m sure I will be getting daily updates on this via his Instagram.”
