Spurs boss De Zerbi gives optimistic update on Kulusevski

Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi says he will not rush Dejan Kulusevski back – but is hopeful he will return to action soon.

The Sweden international has not played for Tottenham since May 2025 because of a knee injury.

He is still yet to return to action, but De Zerbi has backed the 26-year-old to play an important part for his team when he does come back.

“Kulusevski fit and right, he’s one of the best players we have in the squad,” the Spurs boss said.

“I wouldn’t like to put too much pressure on him to accelerate the process of rehab but I hope he can be available as early as possible.”
