Tottenham boss Thomas Frank says Randal Kolo Muani and Ben Davies will miss his side’s Carabao Cup clash with Doncaster Rovers.

Kolo Muani was sidelined for Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Brighton with a leg injury and Frank says he remains out for Wednesday’s meeting with League One Doncaster.

Davies, meanwhile, is still recovering from a knee issue.

“They will both not be available for selection tomorrow,” Frank said.

“It’s minor injuries for both of them. It’s just too short of a turnaround.”

Dominic Solanke and Kota Takai, meanwhile, have trained with the team ahead of the game, though Frank said last week that Solanke would not make the game against Doncaster.

“They’re progressing,” he said. “Both trained today with the team so that’s good.”

Dejan Kulusevski continues to miss out while he recovers from a long-term knee injury but Frank says he expects him back before the end of 2025.

“Yes, there is a good chance of that,” he said.

“Of course, he’s top player. I always liked him when I saw him from afar and he’s a key player for us, a key player for me.

“Instead of putting an exact month on it, I just want him back as quick as possible. The medical guys and Kulusevski are working very hard on that so it’s not tomorrow, but hopefully not too far away.”
