This weekend marked the first round of the 24/25 FA Cup first round proper. With it, a number of Spurs loanees were in action for their respective sides, as teams in the EFL entered the competitions. There were loanees taking to the field on Friday, Saturday, and on Sunday. Let's see how they all got on individually and collectively.
On Friday night, George Abbott and Notts County were able to avoid an upset, as they brushed pack National League North side Alfreton Town, with a 5-1 victory at home - despite the visitors taking the lead in the game. Abbott played the whole 90 minutes at right-wing back for Stuart Maynard's side.
On Saturday, Matthew Craig's Barnsley side saw off League Two opposition, as they overcame Port Vale 3-1 on the road. Craig, however, was an unused substitute by Barnsley manager Darrell Clarke for this one.
Meanwhile on Sunday, Josh Keeley and Jamie Donley's Leyton Orient side were in action, as they travelled across the capital, and back to North London, as they faced National League South side Boreham Wood - who beat AFC Bournemouth in this competition as recently as 2022.

There are no replays, with the elite getting their way as always - so the game went into extra-time. Donley was replaced after 65 minutes, whilst Orient were still 2-0 up.
There would be no goals in extra time, and we would have a penalty shootout. Keeley would be the hero, making a penalty save as Orient would triumph 3-1 in the shootout, and book their place in the second round of the FA Cup. Whilst no replays is still a farce, it is great that Keeley could have a moment like that in the sho
The draw for the second round will take place tonight, at around 19:45 GMT, during the FA Cup highlights show on BBC Two. Notts are ball number 33, Barnsley are ball number 29, and Orient are ball number 4.
