Spurs are set to seal another loan exit for Tyrese Hall, who shone on loan at Notts County last term amid links to Southampton and Millwall in January

A new development is emerging out of Tottenham Hotspur regarding the future of highly-rated youngster Tyrese Hall, who is poised to depart North London on loan once again following previous links to a range of Championship clubs including Southampton and Millwall.

The Spurs academy product has been hotly-rated within age-group circles for some time now, and spent the duration of the 2025/26 campaign on loan with Notts County as Martin Paterson's side won promotion to League One via the fourth-tier play-offs.

Hall is, of course, some way from forcing his way into the immediate thinking of new boss Roberto De Zerbi as a new era awaits in the white quarters of the North London divide, and instead, his temporary future appears to lie away from the Lilywhites in a development that is likely to place a host of EFL clubs on red alert in what remains of this summer's transfer window.

Ex-Notts County loan star Tyrese Hall set for new Spurs loan exit

This latest update comes courtesy of The Sun's live transfer blog, where it has been reported that Spurs are set to sanction a second successive loan exit for Hall in the newly-initiated 2026/27 season.

The 20-year-old midfielder was closely assessed by De Zerbi throughout pre-season, in which he made cameo appearances in victories over Auckland FC and Hoffenheim, although available opportunities are described as "limited" if he is to remain under the Italian's watch right now.

Instead, Spurs have decided to green-light another temporary departure as the new campaign begins, and while Hall's next destination remains unclear at this moment in time, it's likely that numerous sides will have the promising England youth international on their wishlists in an effort to strike a deal late in the window.

Hall will be looking to gain further experience after catching the eye at Meadow Lane last season, and it will be interesting to see exactly who joins the race for his services in the coming days.

Millwall, Southampton and Hull City were previously linked with Spurs' Tyrese Hall

Only back in January, Hall was linked to a variety of competitive Championship clubs as a prior report from The Sun detailed interest from, Southampton, Millwall and Hull City.

All three were competing for promotion at the time and would end up securing play-off finishes, with Southampton controversially eliminated from the final as a consequence of the well-documented Spygate saga while Millwall were defeated by Hull City in the semi-finals and Sergej Jakirovic's side executed a stunning surprise when they ousted Middlesbrough at Wembley to secure promotion against all odds.

At the time of that interest, however, Hall was shining on loan with Notts, and despite suggestions that Spurs were considering recalling him to enter the first-team frame ahead of a relegation battle in the second-half of the season, the prodigy ultimately ended up seeing out the full season in the East Midlands.

He's clearly known to many Championship clubs, and a number of sides in the second-tier could potentially pounce on his availability before the window is up.

Hall, as mentioned, enjoyed a successful loan stint at League Two level in what marked his first bout of sustained senior football, making his professional club debut against Salford City in August of last year.

Indeed, the two-cap Jamaican international's arrival at Meadow Lane was revealed exclusively by Football League World, and he soon justified his esteemed reputation in youth football with a string of scintillating displays for the Magpies as they went all the way to achieve promotion by knocking Chesterfield and Salford out of the play-offs.

Hall started strong at Notts and his role in black-and-white would naturally decrease later on in the season, with the attack-minded midfield talent not even making the squad for County's 3-0 play-off final victory over Salford or starting a single game after the beginning of March,a although he still displayed flashes of promise that could well translate to a higher level.

Often used from the bench behind the likes of Conor Grant and Tom Iorpenda, just 16 of Hall's 34 league appearances were starts - yet he still weighed in with seven strikes and an assist, averaging 0.41 goals per 90 minutes.

Hall played just 1,523 minutes of League Two football and proved a somewhat-polarising figure among Notts supporters, though his talent and potential is undeniable and Spurs will be hoping that an EFL side - be that in the Championship or in the form of an ambitious League One outfit - can maximise the midfielder's promise.
