All the information needed ahead of our trip to Tottenham Hotspur in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

WHEN AND WHERE

Andrée Jeglertz’s side visit Brisbane Road on Friday 19 September, with kick-off scheduled for 19:30 (UK).

The fixture is available to watch in the United Kingdom on Sky Sports Premier League, meanwhile the Official Man City App will have comprehensive coverage from the capital in one handy place.

PREVIOUS MEETING

We last met Spurs in March which was also played at Brisbane Road as Aoba Fujino’s fist WSL goal helped us to hard fought 2-1 win last term.

Vivianne Miedema opened the scoring for the Blues with a well-met header, but Bethany England equalised before half-time with the teams evenly matched.

As the contest looked likely to end in a draw, Fujino collected a precise pass from Yui Hasegawa before smashing the ball into the roof of the net.

LAST TIME OUT

In what was our first match at the Joie Stadium this season, we came from a goal down to beat Brighton 2-1 in our previous outing.

The Seagulls had taken the lead in the first half when Fran Kirby collected the ball inside the box and drilled low into the box and the visitors took that slender lead into the interval.

Following the break, though, we flipped the match on its head following goals from Bunny Shaw and Hasegawa.

The Jamaican equalised when powering a header home from a Leila Ouahabi cross before the Japan international gathered the ball inside the area and expertly dispatched from close range.
