St Pauli confirm Karol Mets out indefinitely with left calf injury

St Pauli will be without Karol Mets for the foreseeable future.

The club said on Wednesday the Estonian centre-back had suffered a left calf injury.

He picked up the problem during Saturday’s 1-0 win over Hoffenheim and was withdrawn at half-time.

The 32-year-old returned from injury at the start of the season. He has been a regular in defence for the Hamburg club.

He has made 21 appearances so far.
