Stach features as Germany held by Netherlands | OneFootball

Anton Stach played 26 minutes on Thursday night as Germany were held to a 1-1 draw by the Netherlands in the Nations League at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

The Leeds United midfielder came on in the second half, replacing Felix Nmecha, to make his fourth appearance for the German national team.

The match marked Jürgen Klopp's first game in charge of the four-time World Cup champions, with the visitors taking the lead through Nmecha in the 32nd minute.

Stach was introduced alongside Chris Führich in the 64th minute, as Klopp looked to freshen up his midfield with Germany holding their advantage.

The Leeds man recorded 12 touches and completed six passes during his time on the pitch. He also won two duels, made one recovery and registered one carry.

Germany looked set to secure victory in Klopp's first outing, but the Netherlands found a late equaliser when Cody Gakpo struck in the second minute of stoppage time.

Stach will now turn his attention to Germany's next fixture, as they face Greece on Sunday, 27 September (7:45pm).
