Stade Brestois has launched a move for Adama Coulibaly, the young Malian defensive midfielder currently playing for Al Hilal in Sudan. The Breton club is actively working to secure this promising talent to bolster its midfield for the upcoming season.
A standout and revelation this season at Al Hilal, the flagship club of the Sudanese league, Coulibaly has caught the eye of several European sides. Adama Coulibaly is attracting interest in Ligue 1, with Brest looking to strengthen wisely. With the summer transfer window in full swing, the Breton club has set its sights on the player nicknamed the 'Malian Messi' for his ability to beat defenders and create chances.
To speed up negotiations, Stade Brestois has reportedly submitted an initial financial offer, according to Africa Foot. With a bid of €700,000, the Breton club hopes to convince Al Hilal Omdurman and the player to make the move to Brittany. However, the competition is fierce. In addition to Brest, clubs like Saint-Étienne, Lens, ES Tunis and Orlando Pirates are also said to be interested in Adama Coulibaly, whose contract with the Sudanese club runs until 2026.
