Stade Malien: Mauryl Mesack Njoya, the 'wizard' who changes everything
Since his arrival at Stade Malien de Bamako in August 2025, Mauryl Mesack Njoya has been making headlines. Less than a year after taking charge, the club is celebrating a historic qualification for the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League, marking their return to the group stage after nearly 30 years.
With a CAF A License and 20 major titles won across four countries, Mauril Mesack Njoya has already left his mark on numerous clubs. In Cameroon, he unearthed young talents with Brasseries du Cameroun. In Côte d’Ivoire, he delivered historic titles to Adzopé FC, Séwé Sport, and ASI d’Abengourou. In Burkina Faso, Rahimo FC shone under his leadership, clinching both the league and the cup, while in Mauritania, he dominated with FC Nouadhibou, securing five league championships and three Super Cups.
In Mali, Stade Malien has undergone a genuine transformation in record time: attacking football, tactical discipline, team spirit, and a Super Cup already in the trophy cabinet. With one match left in the group stage, the club is already assured of a place in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
With Mauryl Mesack Njoya at the helm—an inspiring coach able to bring out the best in everyone and build a lasting legacy—Stade Malien is now charting its course towards African football excellence.
