Het Nieuwsblad have announced that Standard Liege captain Noe Dussenne is set to depart the club for Lokomotiv Moscow during the winter transfer window. The 30 year old is out of contract in the summer and was informed by the club that they would not be looking to renew his deal. This led to the player looking for new options as early as this winter transfer window.
Remarkably, the central defender will leave the club as the joint top scorer with four goals. He joined the club in 2019 from the now defunct Mouscron, going to to make 77 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals. Prior to playing for Standard, Dussenne had a spell in Italy with Crotone, as well as time with fellow Belgian Pro League sides Gent and Cercle Brugge.
Standard are poised to lose more players during this transfer window, with both Nicolas Raskin and Selim Amallah frozen out of the first team squad and looking for moves. Both players contracts are up in the summer and neither has been able to agree a new deal with the club.
