Nene Dorgeles broke the deadlock in the 17th minute with a close-range finish, as Fenerbahçe and Göztepe drew 1-1.

Arriving between the centre-backs, Dorgeles met Anthony Musaba's cross and steered it in from close range to give the hosts control.
