Anis Hadj Moussa levelled in the 57th minute with a precise left-foot finish to ensure Feyenoord drew 1-1 with AZ. He tilted a frantic tie back towards the hosts.
Early on he was the clearest outlet on the right, flashing one effort over and forcing a low save after bursting into the box. His clipped cross also drew a header on target that the goalkeeper tipped over.
After the restart he timed his run behind the back line and swept in Tobias van den Elshout's through ball into the bottom-right corner (57.), a fast-break move that caught AZ square.
Hadj Moussa finished with three attempts, two on target, plus 11 touches in the area and two successful dribbles, underlining how often he attacked the inside-right channel and asked questions one-v-one.
By drifting off the flank and driving at defenders, he pinned the full-back and centre-back, keeping AZ retreating and giving Feyenoord territory to build sustained pressure.
Feyenoord remain second in the Eredivisie and visit PEC Zwolle next. AZ stay sixth and host NAC Breda next.
