Lucas Figueiredo dos Santos struck in the 12th minute to put Alverca ahead in a 1-1 draw with Estoril, his timing and finish setting the tone for a tight Liga Portugal tie.

He ghosted into the six-yard box to steer in Nabil Touaizi Zoubdi's cut-back from close range (12.), the Brazilian forward reading the move quicker than the visiting defence.

Figueiredo's all-round output underpinned Alverca's attack: three key passes, eight possession regains and four tackles, plus nine successful final third passes that repeatedly pinned Estoril back. It was his only attempt, but the finish was clinical.
