Marcos Vinicios Lopes Moura settled it in the 47th minute with a right-footed finish, as Famalicão beat Vitória S.C. 2-1. The Brazilian forward had earlier created the opener to shape the contest.
Earlier, Sorriso cushioned a header into the centre for Justin De Haas to convert (17.). His delivery from the left offered a constant route to goal.
After the restart, he drew a low save from Charles (47.). Moments later, he finished from the centre of the box to restore Famalicão's lead (47.).
He finished with four attempts, two on target, nine touches in the box and won possession eight times, alongside 12 successful passes in the final third. The blend of penalty area presence and graft underpinned his influence.
Working mainly down the left, Sorriso repeatedly won free kicks and carried Famalicão up the pitch, keeping Vitória pinned back and disrupting their right side.
Famalicão rise from sixth to fifth and host Nacional next. Vitória S.C. visit Benfica next.
