Zan Vipotnik bent a free-kick into the roof of the net in the 70th minute to set Swansea City on their way to a 4-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday. The Slovenian forward later struck again and now leads the Championship scoring chart with 15.
From the dead ball he struck through the centre of the goal, the power and height leaving Murphy Mahoney with no chance.
He then doubled his haul, finishing a fast break low into the bottom right from the centre of the box (79.), after Ronald Pereira Martins released him on the counter.
Vipotnik finished with six attempts, two on target, and eight touches in the box, a constant outlet as Swansea pushed on after the restart. His two aerial wins underlined how often he contested the central channel.
Set-piece precision unlocked the game for Swansea, and his movement in transition for the second kept The Owls stretched through the closing stages.
Swansea visit Derby next in the Championship, while The Owls host Millwall.
