Louie Marsh created the opener in the sixth minute and later headed in, guiding Falkirk to a 2-1 win at Livingston.
He first slipped a low pass across the area for a close-range finish (6.). The early intervention put the Bairns on the front foot and stretched Livingston's back line.
Then he attacked a corner routine, meeting a headed knock-back to glance home from close range (25.). That cushion shaped the rest of the contest in Falkirk's favour.
After the restart he sparked a counter, teeing up Ethan Ross for a shot that went just wide (61.). He then supplied Calvin Miller, whose effort struck the left post (66.). Marsh finished with four attempts, four key passes and seven touches in the box, underlining how he drove the visitors' threat.
His movement from the right and at set pieces repeatedly unsettled Livingston, with sharp timing into the six-yard zone ensuring the Bairns controlled the key moments.
The Bairns visit Stenhousemuir in the Scottish Cup next, while Livingston travel to Celtic in the Premiership.
