Standout star sparks late push for Dundee

Charlie Reilly headed Dundee in front in the 87th minute, with the Scottish Premiership tie finishing 1-1 against St Johnstone.

Arriving at the right edge of the six yard box, he glanced a header into the centre after a fast break (87.). The timing of his run separated him from the back line and turned a cagey game on its head.

His intervention looked decisive until an equaliser arrived (90.). He then almost stole it in the second minute of stoppage time, a right footed effort from the centre of the box blocked after a lay-off from Joe Westley.

From the bench he produced three attempts, created one big chance and recorded four touches in the box, a burst that underlined why his movement in transition troubled the visitors and gave Dundee a late platform.

Dundee visit Hearts next. St Johnstone host Hibernian.
