Nhoa Sangui defined Paris FC's display in the 77th minute, slipping a runner through for the visitors' clearest opening, as Strasbourg and Paris FC finished goalless.
He had already grown into the game down the right, and his incisive pass released Luca Koleosho for a low strike that Mike Penders saved (77.). The 20-year-old defender repeatedly carried Paris FC up the pitch and linked phases cleanly.
Sangui then stepped inside and drove a shot from distance just wide (83.). Against Le Racing's left, he fed Koleosho again for another effort that was blocked (84.), maintaining the visitors' threat on transitions.
The defender finished with three successful dribbles from four, four interceptions and seven recoveries, plus 41 accurate passes from 45, which underlined how he advanced Paris FC and shut down breakaways. He also completed seven passes in the final third, a marker of his territorial gain.
Paris FC host Le Havre next. Le Racing face Rijeka in the UEFA Conference League next.
