Lasse Nordas levelled in the 58th minute with a close-range finish, sparking Heerenveen's 3-1 victory at Go Ahead Eagles. He later completed his brace to swing momentum.
From a corner, Nordas reacted first at the far post, turning in from point-blank range to cancel out the opener and reset the contest in Deventer.
He then made the difference again, arriving to meet Maxence Rivera's pass and guiding in the second (68.), a composed finish that put Heerenveen in control against the Supereagles.
Nordas finished with six attempts, three on target, and eight touches in the box, his penalty-area presence repeatedly stretching the home defence.
With Rivera finding pockets between the lines and Joris Overeem supplying from wide areas, the forward received steady service, occupied centre-backs and attacked second balls that kept Go Ahead chasing.
Heerenveen rise from 12th to 9th in the Eredivisie and host PEC Zwolle next. The Supereagles visit Feyenoord next.
How high would you rate Nordas's performance tonight?
