Kerem Aktürkoğlu seized control in the 27th minute with a composed finish as Fenerbahçe beat Gençlerbirliği 3-1. The forward added another before the interval to put the game beyond the visitors.
Timing his run onto Marco Asensio's through ball, Aktürkoğlu lifted a left-footed strike into the top right (27.).
He then arrived onto Mert Muldur's low delivery to tuck home from the centre of the box (33.), completing a ruthless two-goal salvo before half time.
He finished with two goals from two attempts on target, three tackles won and two interceptions, blending penalty-box poise with diligent work back in midfield areas.
With Kanarya feeding him early through balls and overlaps from the right, his diagonal movements repeatedly stretched Gençlerbirliği's back line and kept the hosts in control.
Kanarya remain second on 49 points and visit Trabzonspor next. Gençlerbirliği host Çaykur Rizespor.
