Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye, who has an agreement on personal terms with Liverpool, ‘has been offered’ to Italian giants Roma.
The Reds are willing to bring in not one but two wingers before the summer window closes, even though Victor Munoz has already been added to Andoni Iraola’s group.
PSG’s wing duo, in the shape of Bradley Barcola and teenage star Mbaye, are two players Liverpool want and have been in talks to sign.
Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo has a good chance of leaving the club in the coming days, as Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make an offer for the Dutch attacker.
And even if the Netherlands forward ends up staying, new boss Iraola may well see Gakpo more as a number 9.

Liverpool’s top priority is France forward Barcola, and to sign him, the Reds are maintaining regular contact with the Champions League winners.
However, the Reds are similarly keen on Mbaye, who will be allowed to leave after PSG signed the likes of Ferran Torres, Mika Godts and Maghnes Akliouche this summer.
Liverpool do have an agreement on personal terms with Mbaye, but there is an issue.
Earlier this week, it was suggested that the Parisian giants’ asking price for the Senegalese winger is considered too high by the Reds, who are not ready to invest that much yet.
Serie A side Roma have been offered the chance to sign the 18-year-old winger, but they have not opened negotiations with PSG, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it.

It has been suggested that the Giallorossi have added the teenager to their long list of wing targets.
Even though the Serie A giants are not yet talking to the Parisians for Mbaye, he is an option for them to monitor and things could ramp up quickly.
The PSG academy graduate’s current deal runs for two more years at the Parc des Princes; the Ligue 1 giants are not opposed to sanctioning his departure for the right price.
Luis Enrique’s side are believed to be asking for €70m for the Senegal star, which may mean Roma favour a loan.
