Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided an insight into his plans to ease attacking star Raphinha back into action in the club’s next outing.

This comes amid confirmation that the Brazilian will not be risked from the off on Saturday.

Barcelona are of course primed to kick their campaign back into gear tomorrow afternoon, in a La Liga meeting with Athletic Club.

Raphinha has for his part been spotted back in full training in the buildup to the clash, a major boost for the Blaugrana.

The former Leeds United man has not taken to the pitch since all the way back in September, owing to a problematic hamstring injury.

With Raphinha now cleared for competitive action once more, though, his status for Barca’s highly-anticipated Spotify Camp Nou return was today put to manager Hansi Flick.

And the German tactician went on to confirm:

“Raphinha is back. He will start from the bench and we will see how many minutes he can play.”
