Stuttgart highlighted his performances for club and country, noting his technical and tactical level, his defensive versatility, and wishing him success for the second half of the season.

Stergiou initially joined Stuttgart on loan from Swiss Super League side FC St. Gallen in the summer of 2023.

The Cannstatt club then signed the six-time Swiss international on a permanent deal in the summer of 2024.
