Operating as a calm and assured left-sided centre-back, Graham has emerged as one of the standout young performers in Steven Pressley’s squad this season.

Dundee manager Steven Pressley made it clear the club would demand a significant fee for the 22-year-old, stressing he would not be allowed to leave on the cheap during the summer transfer window.

Post-match Pressley made it clear the club would demand a significant fee for the 22-year-old, stressing he would not be allowed to leave on the cheap during the summer transfer window.

Speaking after the Hoops’ 2-1 victory over the Dens Park outfit, Pressley said: “He’s been outstanding for us. He really has. He’s been a real standout. He’s grown week after week, and the biggest problem is obvious: trying to hold onto him or trying to replace him!

“That’s going to be the hardest part of the summer. I think it’s the nature of the way football works. We’re not the only selling club. There’s maybe only one or two clubs in the world that aren’t selling clubs.

“We have to accept that. But as the club have shown over the January window, Luke will not leave unless we get the fee that we think’s acceptable and reflects his value. And that seems to grow by the game!”

Graham outperformed Celtic’s back line statistically in the match, registering a higher number of defensive actions and winning more ground duels than both Liam Scales and Auston Trusty.

The centre-back had already attracted attention during the January transfer window, with Aberdeen and Hibernian credited with interest, while Championship outfit Portsmouth were reported to have lodged several bids.

Dundee are understood to be holding out for a record-breaking transfer fee for the 22-year-old, who could become the subject of a bidding war between Celtic and the Ibrox club – mirroring recent speculation surrounding Motherwell winger Elijah Just.

Elsewhere, Celtic have also been linked with a number of Scottish Premiership talents, including Josh Mulligan, Miguel Chaiwa and Tawanda Maswanhise.
