Stevenage are plotting a summer move for St Johnstone striker Adama Sidibeh.
High-flying League One side Stevenage are plotting a January swoop for St Johnstone striker Adama Sidibeh, who was once a transfer target of Burnley, Queens Park Rangers, and Derby County.
The Gambian striker is a late-bloomer in his career, having only gone professional in 2023/24, after moving from non-league side Warrington Rylands to St Johnstone, at the age of 25.
Sidibeh made an instant impact in his first half season at the club, scoring five league goals, which helped the Saints maintain their Premiership status, and catching the eye of clubs such as Burnley, QPR, Middlesbrough, and Derby.
However, a move would fail to materialise, and the forward would remain at St Johnstone as they succumbed to relegation to the Scottish Championship.

Now, reports from journalist Alan Nixon via his Patreon page suggest that the Gambian could have a move to England on the cards again, but this time, it's with League One high-flyers Stevenage.
It's been some start to the season for Stevenage, who are second in League One, level on points with leaders Cardiff City, but with a game in hand on the Bluebirds, meaning they can reclaim that top spot should they win their extra fixture.
In terms of players, star striker Jamie Reid has been the main man once again this season, with five goals in 11 league outings, but behind him, other strikers such as Gassan Ahadme and Beryly Lubala haven't had the same level of success.
This has seen manager Alex Revell identify St Johnstone's Sidibeh as a potential transfer target for January, according to reports from Nixon, as he looks to add to his attacking arsenal.
The Gambian striker has not long made the step-up to professional football, with the Saints being his first pro club, after he caught the eye playing for Warrington Rylands in the English non-league.
Since his arrival in Perth, Sidibeh has netted 13 goals in 70 appearances across all competitions, five of which came in his first season at the club, which saw the likes of Burnley, QPR, and Derby all linked with a summer swoop for his signature.
Whilst moves to any of those clubs wouldn't materialise, the forward reportedly has Stevenage as an option on the table, as he looks to take his first plunge into the EFL with the League One side.

The Gambian international is out of contract at St Johnstone in the summer, which means that Boro have multiple options on the table to structure a deal to bring the striker to the Lamex Stadium.
Nixon suggested that Stevenage could pay a small fee to sign Sidibeh immediately in January, if they wish to have him on board in the second-half of the League One campaign.
The other option is to agree a pre-contract with Sidibeh in January, which would see them obtain him on a free transfer in the summer, following the expiration of his contract at St Johnstone.
It will be interesting to see what option Revell takes, if any, and whether he believes he requires the 27-year-old's services immediately, or is happy to wait until the summer and save some money.
