Stewart delivers Rangers January hammer blow | OneFootball

Rangers fans have been told some very bad news with regards January.

With the clear need for new players, especially in defence CEO Patrick Stewart confirmed no more than about one player will arrive.

Rangers are short on numbers at the back with just one senior defender actually fit or available and despite the defensive crisis there will be no more than that single player arriving

It is a hammer blow to fans hoping that some serious defensive reinforcements may arrive given the utter lack of options there.

But sadly Stewart’s confirmation that January is to be a frugal month puts paid to any notion of significant reinforcements arriving.

It appears Rangers will be lucky to sign even one defender.
