Southampton and Bristol City drew 2-2 at St Mary's on Tuesday night, keeping Southampton fourth while City slip to 11th in the Championship.

In the fifth minute, Ryan Manning put through his own net to hand the visitors the lead. Cyle Larin levelled (29.) from close range after Manning's set-piece cross.

After the restart, Radek Vítek tipped away Cameron Archer's drive (46.). The Saints goalkeeper then kept out Tomi Horvat (50.) as chances came at both ends.

City regained the advantage when Sam Bell glanced in from a Horvat corner (63.). Ross Stewart equalised with a close range header (74.) from Tom Fellows' delivery.

In the seventh minute of second half stoppage time, Stewart shot over from close range.

Saints had 54.3% possession and won seven corners. City registered five shots on target from eight attempts and made 40 clearances.
