The STJD on Saturday granted a stay on Abel Ferreira’s suspension, clearing the Palmeiras manager to take charge against Botafogo on Sunday.
According to Nosso Palestra, the punishment followed last Sunday’s meeting with Mirassol, when he kicked a broadcast microphone after disputing referee João Vitor Gobi’s decision.

The case was heard on Friday and he received a two-match ban.
The Botafogo fixture is in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
Palmeiras can still appeal the original decision.
