10 years, 20 trophies, countless memories.
John Stones’ City career comes to an end this summer after a momentous decade in which we’ve won every trophy on offer to us.
The England international has typified Pep Guardiola’s stylish football more than most and become a true fan favourite in the process.
Only his close mates Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden have ever won as much as Stones for City in our 132-year history.
And as we prepare to bid so long, not goodbye, to one of our greatest ever defenders, we took the opportunity for one last portrait to cement his legacy.
A naturally humble man, Stones was encouraged by our photography team to pose proudly in front of all the trophies he’s had a huge hand in helping us win.
Six Premier League titles, five League Cups, three FA Cups, three Community Shields and one of each of the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Ahead of his farewell to the Etihad Stadium this Sunday, take a look at the above image and reflect on the contributions of a special player and person.
