Strasbourg away end at Mainz sells out in under two hours

Strasbourg’s away allocation at Mainz’s MEWA Arena sold out in under two hours for their Europa Conference League quarter-final.

According to L'Équipe, the 2,300-seat visitors’ section was snapped up, with priority given to season-ticket holders and fans who had travelled over the past two seasons.

The first leg will be played on Thursday 9 April, with Mainz around 200 kilometres from Strasbourg, and many are expected to travel.

The return at La Meinau on Thursday 16 April is also set to be in high demand.

Strasbourg are in a European quarter-final for the first time in 46 years. If they progress, they will meet Rayo Vallecano or AEK Athens in the semi-finals.
