Strasbourg have confirmed the signing of Polish goalkeeper Milosz Piekutowski on a free transfer, with a contract running to 2029.

According to L'Équipe, the 20-year-old agreed the deal several weeks ago, which includes a further one-year option. His formative club, third in the Ekstraklasa, will receive €400,000 in training compensation.

Piekutowski caught the eye at La Meinau in the Europa Conference League, when Jagiellonia Bialystok drew 1-1 there on 23 October.

He is expected to be Strasbourg’s second-choice goalkeeper as the position is reshaped. Mike Penders departs at the end of his loan, while Karl-Johan Johnsson and Stefan Bajic leave after their contracts expired, with Bajic heading to Aix-la-Chapelle.

The Pole becomes Strasbourg’s third summer arrival, following Diogo Sousa from Vitoria Guimaraes and Benjamin Brantlind from Göteborg.
