Strasbourg predicted XI v Marseille: Giovanni Reyna and Filip Jörgensen set for debuts | OneFootball

It’s a new dawn for RC Strasbourg Alsace, with so many of the core players that defined the past two seasons having left, such as Valentin Barco, Emanuel Emegha, and Diego Moreira. The club even has a brand new head coach in Hugo Oliveira, replacing Gary O’Neil, who was poached by Ipswich Town. 

L’Équipe expects that there should be four debutants on the pitch for tonight’s season opener against Olympique de Marseille. In goal, Filip Jörgensen arrives on loan from Chelsea, replacing Mike Penders, who went in the other direction following the end of his loan. 

Mateo Del Blanco should start on the left of the back four following his arrival from Argentine side Unión de Santa Fe. In midfield, Diogo Sousa from Vitória S.C. in Portugal. The star arrival will be US international Giovanni Reyna, who joins after a disappointing spell with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
