Promising young Polish goalkeeper Milosz Piekutowski (20) is set to join RC Strasbourg Alsace, according to a report from L’Équipe

Piekutowski impressed for Jagiellonia Bialystok during their UEFA Europa Conference League game against Le Racing last season and his reward is now a move to the Meinau. L’Équipe understands that the goalkeeper will sign a three-year deal with Strasbourg, with the option for a third year. His club will receive €400,000 in compensation, the report adds.

He is expected to be the No.2 for the Alsace club next season. The identity of the No.1 goalkeeper remains unclear. Mike Penders will return to parent club Chelsea; Karl-Johan Johnsson will leave upon the expiry of his contract, as will Stefan Bajic, who is set to join Aix-la-Chapelle, L’Équipe understands.

For the past two seasons, Strasbourg have loaned a goalkeeper from fellow BlueCo-owned club Chelsea. In any case, Piekutowski will provide the back-up going into next season.
