Earlier this week, L’Équipe reported that there was set to be a squad overhaul at RC Strasbourg Alsace this summer. The publication understands that many key first-team players will leave the club. One of those expected to leave is Diego Moreira (21), and according to a report from Mohamed Toubache-Ter, he has already held talks with German giants Borussia Dortmund

Moreira was an ever-present, firstly under Liam Rosenior and then later under Gary O’Neil. The Belgium international played 42 times across all competitions, scoring five goals and registering nine assists during that time.

Strasbourg set Moreira asking price

But after two full seasons at the Meinau, it is understood that Strasbourg are now ready to cash in. A return to Chelsea does not seem to be on the cards for Moreira, but there is no shortage of interest. Stade Rennais made an attempt to sign the Belgian, who would prefer a move to Borussia Dortmund, with whom he has reached an agreement on personal terms. Le Racing want a fee of €38m plus another €5m in add-ons.
