Former West Ham striker Albian Ajeti admits he followed a ‘gut feeling’ when he decided to join the Hammers.
The 25-year-old joined West Ham in 2019 on a four-year contract but only played 12 times for the London club before his move to Celtic the year later on a £5m deal.
“There were talks (with Lazio). In the end, it was certainly not a decision against Lazio, but my gut feeling advised me to go to West Ham.” – said Ajeti for Kronen Zeitung.
The Swiss international was a big hit for FC Basel but his career has spiralled downwards since his West Ham move and he now finds himself on loan at Sturm Graz after a difficult spell with Celtic.
