Bookmakers have issued an early predicted final 2026-27 Premier League table, making a particularly strong call on Leeds United and Sunderland, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.
Leeds ended 2025-26 in 14th, eight points above the drop, and survival was sealed with three games to spare.
Wolves, Burnley and West Ham go down, while champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and Hull City come up, the latter via the play-offs.
Daniel Farke has underlined the need for Leeds to kick on this summer, with chairman Paraag Marathe warning that a second season back can often be tougher than the first.
Sunderland face the same challenge and also have Europa League commitments after finishing seventh.
Less than one week after the final day there has already been a managerial change. Arne Slot has been sacked by Liverpool and is expected to be replaced by outgoing Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola.
The early markets set out a full predicted table, with firm views on Tottenham and Newcastle alongside Leeds and Sunderland. It is based on title odds for sides tipped for the top half and relegation odds for those seen in the bottom half.
