Struijk hints at Leeds boost before West Ham finale as Farke offers cautious update | OneFootball

Leeds United could receive a timely lift for Sunday’s Premier League finale at West Ham, with Struijk hinting at involvement.

On Friday, Daniel Farke said Struijk had returned to training and could be available for the trip, and added that Jayden Bogle might also have a chance if his body responds well.

On Sunday, Struijk posted a match graphic on his Instagram story, usually a sign a player is in the matchday squad.

The defender was forced off midway through the second half at Tottenham the previous Monday with a hip issue, then missed last weekend’s home game against Brighton.

Five players had already been ruled out of the finale, Gabi Gudmundsson, Noah Okafor, Ilia Gruev, Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff, while Bogle was listed as a doubt at Friday’s press conference.

As of Sunday lunchtime there had been no update on Bogle, who has missed his side’s last two matches with a hamstring injury.
