VfB Stuttgart could rival Borussia Dortmund for Matías Soulé, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The paper says the 23-year-old, currently at AS Roma, is on Stuttgart’s radar. It adds he could be an alternative to Bilal El Khannouss, who has recently been rumoured to be considering a move.

Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport claims Bayer Leverkusen are also in the hunt for the Argentine attacker.

Roma would reportedly let the player go for around €40 million, with a €25-30 million release clause likely to expire on 30 June.

The Serie A side are particularly hopeful of interest from Saudi Arabia, with Al Ahli and Al Ittihad said to have Soulé on their shortlists.
