Stuttgart ‘have made’ lucrative offer to out-of-contract Hoffenheim midfielder Grischa Prömel

Sky Germany reports that Stuttgart have tabled an offer to Grischa Prömel, whose Hoffenheim contract runs out this summer.

After initial talks, the 31-year-old and his representatives received a lucrative proposal. The club want to sign him on a free transfer and hope the package will persuade him.

Stuttgart have set clear financial limits and do not intend to significantly improve the current bid.

Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg have also been linked with a move for Prömel.

He could yet stay at Hoffenheim, with talks between the club, the player and his management expected this week. A final decision is anticipated in March.
