Stuttgart players were left irritated with Porto after Thursday's Europa League first leg, alleging provocative goal celebrations and unsporting behaviour, including frequent stoppages.

Angelo Stiller criticised Porto's celebrations in front of the Curva de Cannstatt, saying: "I have rarely experienced anything like that. I do not know if they needed to do it. We will give everything on Thursday to go through," he told RTL.

Deniz Undav, who scored for the hosts, aimed his frustration at Zaidu. "This is a joke. That left-back went down about 37 times, it seemed unbelievable."

Stuttgart's squad also objected to repeated breaks in play and viewed the celebrations as provocative.

Focus now shifts to next Thursday, with players insisting they will give everything to advance.
