Subs spark Chapecoense comeback to go top

Chapecoense beat Santos 4-2 at Arena Condá to rise from fifth to first in the Brasileirão, overturning a second half deficit with three goals in the final 17 minutes.
In the 16th minute, Walter Clar converted a penalty for Chape after Gabriel Brazão fouled Italo. Gabriel Menino levelled in the first minute of first half stoppage time from Igor Vinicius' pass.
After the restart, Alvaro Barreal put Peixe ahead (67.). Higor equalised for the hosts from a corner (73.). Jean Carlos then headed Chape in front on the break (80.). Rafael Carvalheira sealed it with a left-footed strike from outside the box, fed by Jean Carlos (90.).
Substitutes Higor and Jean Carlos transformed the game, with the latter adding a goal and an assist.
Peixe racked up 25 attempts and 14 corners. Chape mustered eight attempts and 33.6% possession, but hit the target four times to make the difference.
Peixe sit 19th in the relegation places. Next, Chape visit Vasco da Gama. Peixe host São Paulo.
