Sunderland have launched their 2026/27 away kit without a goalkeeper shirt. The club plans a separate goalkeeper launch some time in July.
According to Sunderland Echo, the change means no keeper kit will accompany the home, away or third releases, with distinct designs to follow separate from the outfield range.
The pink and black strip opens a multi-year collaboration with the Elvis Presley estate, this first edition nodding to his early breakthrough.
The shirt is on sale without a front-of-shirt sponsor as talks continue over a 2026/27 deal. Last season brought a one-year partnership with Asian gambling firm W88, which cannot be renewed because a Premier League ban on gambling sponsors is taking effect this summer.
Interim CEO Tom Burwell, working with Chief Commercial Officer Scott McCubbin, has been leading the search and is confident of securing terms that improve on last season's W88 agreement.
The away kit will remain unsponsored for fans throughout 2026/27, though supporters will be able to add the new partner at club shops once confirmed.
