Sunderland confirm 2026-27 pre-season schedule with USA tour and Stadium of Light date | OneFootball

Sunderland have finalised their 2026-27 pre-season programme, adding York City, RC Lens and Stade Rennais to a three-match tour of the United States.

They start at York City on Saturday 18 July at the LNER Community Stadium, kick-off 3pm BST. According to Sunderland Echo, the squad then spend a week in Nashville, Tennessee, concluding with Liverpool at Geodis Park on Saturday 25 July, 5pm CDT.

The itinerary moves to Harrison, New Jersey, where they face Leeds United at the Sports Illustrated Stadium on Thursday 30 July, 7.30pm EDT. The stateside schedule ends on Sunday 2 August against Wrexham at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, kick-off 12pm EDT.

Back in Europe, Sunderland travel to France for a double-header with RC Lens on Saturday 8 August. A Sunderland XI meet a Lens XI behind closed doors at the training ground at 11am BST, before a different XI play later at Stade Bollaert-Delelis at 4pm BST.

The only home friendly comes against Stade Rennais at the Stadium of Light on Saturday 15 August, kick-off 3pm BST, one week before the Premier League season begins. Further details, including ticketing and streaming, will be communicated in due course.
