Sunderland Echo reports that several Sunderland players will leave when their contracts expire next week, with Dennis Cirkin confirmed to depart on a free after helping the club to two promotions.

The retained list set the tone earlier this month, with Dan Neil, Bertrand Traore and Niall Huggins also approaching the final days of their current deals.
