Sunderland face new concern as Noah Sadiki limps off for DR Congo | OneFootball

According to Sunderland Echo, Sunderland have a fresh fitness concern after Noah Sadiki limped off while on international duty with DR Congo.

Sadiki started DR Congo’s 2-1 win away to Zimbabwe in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Monday. He lasted 75 minutes before being replaced by Aaron Tshibola after picking up a knock, and was later seen walking with a noticeable limp.

There has been no suggestion so far of a serious issue, and he was able to move unaided after the final whistle, which offers some reassurance.

The sight will have worried supporters given Brian Brobbey sustained a hamstring issue with the Netherlands and Dan Ballard returned to Wearside after a suspected hamstring injury for Northern Ireland against Georgia during this window.
