Sunderland supporters enjoyed a historic European night at the Stadium of Light as AZ Alkmaar were beaten on Wednesday, the first time European football had been staged at the ground.

Enzo Le Fée’s penalty secured the victory and ended the club’s 53-year wait for a European fixture.
